National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP)

Respite services through the NRCP program can be provided without an ACAS assessment but a formal diagnosis of dementia is required. Access and amount will depend on need and availability.

Respite activities are designed to support the interests of the person with dementia. The NRCP program aims to provide person-centred care that is meaningful and appropriate to individual needs.
